Using HB-LEDs off mains voltage
« on: November 23, 2007, 02:59:22 PM »
High-Voltage HB-LED (High Brightness LED) use is on the rise!
Read the article here.

Currently they can be found in bulb modules used to replace typical incandescent light bulbs. However, their use is limited as it is very rare for a LED light bulb to be able to replace the brightness from a full 100W incandescent....

Because of this reason, and because of their increased cost over incandescent bulbs, they are not so desired. However, LEDstuff is in the process of acquiring a brand new unit which is soon to be in production! This module will be sourced directly from China, and will be available very soon for a very competitive price!

Using an LED bulb will save you a lot of money in the long run for two reasons:

1. They use very little power! Even less than those energy saving bulbs!

2. They last much much longer, so you will be buying and replacing bulbs less often!
 ;D

Watch this space for updates...
